Modular Offices

NAKOA Guam Inc recently completed a modular office installation project for Universal Modular from Escondido, California involving the delivery and setup of five (5) modular office units, each ranging from 12-13 tons in weight. The scope of work included transportation, placement, and anchoring of the units at the designated site with concrete typhoon blocks.

The modular offices were carefully positioned on engineered concrete pads, providing a stable and level foundation. Once placed, each unit was securely tied down using reinforced concrete typhoon blocks to ensure compliance with local wind-load and safety standards, especially critical in regions subject to severe weather events.

The project required close coordination with Navy site engineers and compliance with all government regulatory and safety guidelines. Despite tight logistical timelines and weather-related delays, the installation was completed on schedule and within contract value. The client expressed satisfaction with the efficiency of delivery, the quality of installation, and the durability of the final setup. This project highlights NAKOA Guam’s and Universal Modular’s continued commitment to delivering fast, safe, and cost-effective modular solutions.
